Our Association

The Alliance for Clean Energy New York (ACE NY), a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit membership organization, is a unique and powerful blend of clean energy industry and environmental interests working together for the betterment of the Empire State. We combine a traditional nonprofit model with that of a trade association and service organization, allowing us to leverage a variety of resources to effectively execute our mission. Equally diverse, our services include public policy and market support, public education and outreach, and coalition building.

ACE NY is committed to the promotion of clean, renewable electricity technologies and energy efficiency in New York State in order to increase energy diversity and security, boost economic development, improve public health and reduce air pollution.

Advocacy

We advocate by working to strengthen policies in all areas relevant to renewable energy and energy efficiency, uniting members around the state, nation, and world to work on the most important issues facing the clean energy industry in New York.

We initiate and manage a productive dialogue with state agencies and pertinent governmental agents, presenting industry positions and supporting documentation on key issues.
