Our process begins in the field, where blades are reduced in size directly at each pad to enable efficient transportation and downstream processing. Material is then transported to one of our processing locations: Lockport, New York; Cedar Rapids, Iowa; or Dallas, Texas, where it undergoes mechanical shredding and is directed into a variety of zero-landfill solutions tailored to customer needs. Through our sister company, Second Wind Materials, shredded blade material is also being repurposed as an input in concrete products, creating new beneficial uses for material from decommissioned blades.
