Angela Calcagno is a communicator dedicated to cutting through the noise and translating complex ideas into content that is clear, compelling, educational, and actionable. Whether breaking down the intricacies of clean energy policy, advancing environmental conservation, or navigating the tangled web of partisan media, she brings clarity to complexity. Her work centers on making challenging subjects accessible and transforming what feels inaccessible into what becomes possible.

Angela crafts narratives that inform, inspire, and drive meaningful change. A regular political op-ed contributor to the Times Union, her writing has also appeared in Green Energy Times.

She joined ACE NY in August 2024, bringing professional experience in digital media consulting across Upstate New York and Western Massachusetts. Angela holds a bachelor’s degree in politics from Mount Holyoke College and is currently pursuing a master’s in marketing with a concentration in digital media at Southern New Hampshire University.

Her passion for the environment was sparked during her time at The Doane Stuart School, where access to the school’s iconic green roof and the opportunity to study its design, function, and real-world impact deepened her early interest in sustainability and environmental stewardship.
